HORNELL, NY – On Saturday in downtown Hornell, Shelly Stevens, from Hornell Partners for Growth, and a group of volunteers started working on replacing the bulbs from the Christmas tree that is located downtown across from city hall, to brand new lights.
Here’s the “before” photos:
The tree was put up today to usher in the Christmas season of 2015.
Stevens says that among the group of volunteers helping out are some girl scouts that are working on a girl scout gold honor. Also present were Jasmine and Nevaeh Avery, who concentrated their work on the star that will sit atop the Christmas tree.
