HORNELL, NY – On Wednesday night, the Hornell School Board met at Columbian School. The agenda for the evening including the election of John McNelis to the position of President of the Board while Board member Kerry Davis was elected to the position of Vice President of the Board.
The elections were held filling the position of former Board President Richard Scavo whose retirement from the board of education became effective at the end of the 2014-2015 school year this last June.
The new school board president, John McNelis, has served on the Board of Education for four years now beginning his fifth year and school board vice president-elect Kerry Davis, is now beginning her fourth year serving as a Board of Education member.
