Local Business Man Lee Ryan Passes Away

HORNELL, NY – Long time local business man, Lee Rryan died over the weekend at the age of 79. Lee Ryan, a 1955 graduate of Alfred-Almond Central School, got into the insurance business in 1962.
Hornell Industrial Development Agency Director Jim Griffin called Lee Ryan, a great member of the community. Griffin noted that Ryan was a man of faith, who left a great legacy. “We were very sorry to hear about Lee Ryan’s death,” Griffin told Wlea News. “A stalwart of the community for many, many years, and invested his time and his family and his whole life in Hornell, and the surrounding areas. We will miss Lee very much.”

Funeral arrangements are in care of the Brown and Powers Funeral Hornell, and the funeral will be at the Alfred-Almond Bible Church, this Saturday at 1pm.
