CANISTEO, NY – Canisteo Village Police charged John Ross Jr, of Charlie Drive in Canisteo, with rape in the first degree and endangering the welfare of a child. Canisteo Police report that Ross is alleged to have sexually assualted a 14 year old back in July of this year.
Canisteo Police were assisted in their investigation by State Police, the Steuben County District Attorneys Office and the Steuben County Sheriff’s Department.
