November 29, 2021 – 178 New Cases In Steuben Co, Since Last Wednesday

178 new positives have been investigated since Wednesday’s update. Sadly, two more residents have passed. 62% of these positives are not vaccinated. 67% of the cases who are hospitalized are not vaccinated.

Please keep in mind ways that you can celebrate safely this season with all members of your family. Vaccination is the best protection available against severe illness and death during this time of high spread and with a new variant of concern circulating in other countries. Encourage your loved ones to get vaccinated to be protected.

Data available through yesterday are included to get today’s update out in a timely manner. Many more positive test results are in but data and completed investigations are not yet available.
Multiple positives are associated with Elderwood at Hornell (13), Upstate Farms (3), Corning Inc. Sullivan Park (3), and the following school districts: Bath (3), Campbell-Savona (6), Canisteo-Greenwood (6), Corning-Painted Post (9), Hornell (4), Jasper-Troupsburg (3), and Wayland-Cohocton (3).
