HORNELL, NY – Steuben County Sheriff Jim Allard tells WLEA News that several Rochester youths have been charged for allegedly stealing vehicles from the lot at Maple City Dodge. The sheriff says that the youths are accused of first stealing vehicles in Rochester and after that, coming down to Hornell and stealing vehicles from Maple City Dodge. “They’ve been charged, all the vehicles have been located,” Allard said this morning on the WLEA Newsmaker Show. “On the trip back (to Rochester) is where we’re finding them,” Allard said this morning on Newsmaker.
Will they be charged as minors, or as adults? “Due to their ages, we’ll have to wait and see what happens,” Allard explained.
