New System For Arkport Central Lunch Line

ARKPORT, NY – The Arkport Central School Board has approved finger scanning for students for lunch lines in the cafeteria at Arkport Central.

School Superintendent Glenn Niles says that this is called bio-metric scanning, which is different from finger printing, and the scanning system does not use/take fingerprints.

Niles also says the biometric finger scanning for the lunch line, will go into effect in mid-January.
