This morning on Newsmaker, Brian O’Neil interviewing State Senator Tom O’Mara, and O’Neil was listing off the names of those who have been mentioned as possible candidates to run for the Tom Reed seat in Congress. O’Mara interrupted, saying that he too, might be interested in a run for the House of Representatives seat. “You know, there’s a lot of people that are going to be looking at this, I certainly myself, have not ruled it out,” O’Mara said. “It’s certainly an exciting opportunity for anybody, if a district exists, after redistricting this year. This is going to be a redistricting year like no other, as there is one-party (Democrat) rule, that controls the redistricting process.”
