Police Chief Murray – Don’t Make Threats

March 23, 2018

HORNELL, NY – Hornell Police Chief Ted Murray says that two students were charged for allegedly making threats online. According to Murray, the threats were not credible, but the arrests were made as a precautionary measure. The Police Chief also says that these comments should not be made at all, and he wants all area students to know that making these sorts of comments, can get you into big trouble with police, even if it’s a comment made jokingly.

Chief Murray also says that there were no weapons on the students when they were charged, and the students did not possess any weapons either. “All it was at this point, was talk,” Murray told Wlea News.
