CANISTEO, NY – Canisteo resident and Republican Tom Ryan made an official announcement Monday night at the Canisteo Village Board meeting that he will seek election in November as a Steuben County legislator serving district 9 which encompasses the village and town of Canisteo, Thurston, and Cameron. Ryan, who has a long history of service to the community, will again seek the seat which he has occupied in the past. The seat is currently held by Eric Booth who is not seeking re-election.
