“Senator Moynihan used to decry the fact that New York always sent more money to Washington than it got back. But these last two years, for the first time in history, because of my role as majority leader, but also because of my role of visiting every county, New York got back more money than we sent,” Senator Chuck Schumer recently told The Mid Hudson News.
