Shirley Ann Mosher, of Hornell

HORNELL-Shirley Ann Mosher, 72, of the Riverbend Apartments, passed away Monday (August 11, 2014) at the Hornell Gardens.

Born in Hornell, January 22, 1942, the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Baker, she had resided all her life in the Hornell area. Shirley was a Nurse’s Aide at the Hornell Gardens Nursing Home and was a member of the Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah’s Witnesses of Canisteo. Shirley loved her family as well as crocheting and painting ceramics.

In addition to her parent’s Shirley was predeceased by her sister Alice Burrow.

She is survived by three sons, Donald (Elva) Mosher of Jaspers, Oris Mosher of Hornell and Jon Davis of MT, two daughters, Shari Davis-Ells of Hornell and Sheila Snyder of CT, one sister, Martha Guest of Norfolk VA, six brothers, George Burdick, Ed Vantrese, Gary Burdick, Larry Burdick, Darwin and Duane Wood, nine grandchildren and many great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

The family will be present to receive friends from 5PM-7PM, on Thursday (Aug. 14, 2014) at the Bender – Brown & Powers Funeral Home, 354 Canisteo St, Hornell, NY 14843. A Talk will be held on Tuesday (Aug. 19, 2014) at 7:30PM at the the Kingdom Hall in Canisteo.
