CANISTEO, NY – Our newsroom is getting emails with video and pix this morning, of Annie’s Restaurant in downtown Canisteo. Unofficial sources say that the accident happened Sunday night in the 11pm hour.
UPDATE 9:24am – State Police Have Released The Name Of The Driver:
On June 13, 2022, at approximately 12:06 a.m., State Police in Wayland responded to a motor vehicle accident in the village of Canisteo. The investigation revealed the vehicle had left the roadway for an unknown reason and struck a traffic signal pole and Annie’s restaurant. The operator, identified as Shane A. Kramer, age 29, of Hornell, was charged with Driving While Intoxicated and will be arraigned on his charges during centralized arraignment today.
