HORNELL, NY – WLEA spoke with St. James CEO Jennifer Sullivan on Friday afternoon, after the news was announced that the Hornell hospital was going to receive 7.5 million dollars from the State Health Department/Dormitory Authority. Sullivan said that while she is excited about the good news, it’s also a day of mixed emotions. “I’m very excited for an Independent St. James and it’s future, but mindful of those not moving forward with us, Sullivan told WLEA.
“To get seven and a half million dollars to actually continue to sustain our operations while we transform was incredibly good news,” Sullivan said. “But what I’m trying to do is temper that good news because of the announcement we had today about some of the employees not being able to move forward with us.”
