In the spirit of continuous improvement, to best serve city residents and accommodate their busy schedules, City Hall will be changing business hours.
Beginning Monday February 5th, City Hall will be opening at 8am and closing at 4pm. These hours will be in be in effect Labor Day through Memorial Day. Summer hours remain the same.
This change will bring City Hall’s business hours in line with that of City Court. Because court opens at 8am, most days residents come in early and are waiting at the window of the Chamberlain’s and Clerk’s office or waiting for Codes to open whereas there is little to no traffic between 4pm and 4:30pm.
The drop box on the Seneca St. side of the building will still be available for residents to use during non business hours.
