Statement From The Steuben County Democratic Party:
“I find it laughable that Tom Reed now wants the Federal Government to replenish the fund to help Restaurants recover from the affects of the pandemic on business operations. This hypocrite voted against the American Recovery Act, which included 28.6 Billion dollars to assist restaurants. Many local restaurants took advantage of this program, no thanks to Tom Reed. In fact the American Recovery Act received not one Republican vote in the House or the Senate. For him to expect the voters and Restaurant owners to overlook his vote against them and now request more funds is a joke. Calling out the hypocrite Tom Reed.”
