From Steuben County GOP: Steuben County Republican Party Chairman Joe Sempolinski is pleased to announce that the Seventh Judicial District Republican Convention has unanimously nominated incumbent New York State Supreme Court Justice Alex R. Renzi and Joe Waldorf to run for the two New York State Supreme Court vacancies in the Seventh Judicial District this November. The nominees also received the unanimous endorsement of the Conservative Party at that party’s Seventh Judicial District nominating convention.
“I’m very pleased with our ticket this year for New York State Supreme Court” Sempolinski stated. “Judge Renzi and Mr. Waldorf are extremely qualified and will do a great job for the people of this region as judges.”
The nominating convention was held on August 10, 2023 at the Italian American Sports Club in Gates. Those attending were the Republican chairpersons and judicial delegates from the eight counties of the Seventh Judicial District. The district is made up of the counties of Cayuga, Livingston, Ontario, Monroe, Seneca, Steuben, Wayne, and Yates.
Voters in those counties will vote to fill two State Supreme Court positions on the November general election ballot.
