BATH, NY – A Steuben County jury has found Thomas Clayton guilty. “Clayton was charged with first-and second-degree murder in the September 2015 killing of his wife. Prosecutors said Thomas Clayton hired a former employee, Michael Beard, to kill his wife,” it stated in today’s story by the Leader Staff. Michael Beard was convicted of murder-for-hire and two counts of murder in the 2nd degree, in November 2016.
