Three Hornell Teens Charged For Hornell Car Break-In’s

HORNELL, NY – Hornell Police report that two 17 year old males and a 16 year old male, are each charged with two counts of Grand Larceny in the 4th degree, and criminal possession of stolen property in the 4th degree. All three were remanded to Hornell City Lockup, pending arraignment. The three are accused of breaking into between 15 and 20 vehicles and stealing various items, including two rifles (one of them is said to be a military assault type weapon). The vehicle break-in’s are said to have happened in Hornell, sometime between the late hours of Sunday, and early Monday morning.

The investigation was lead by Officer Curtis Stanford, with Sgt. Matt Linehan and Officer Seth Blanchard, and also Investigator Tom Aini.
