HORNELL, NY – Hornell School Superintendent Doug Wyant says that Hornell High School (senior) Principal Tony Gill is resigning from the Hornell School System, to take a job in Chemung County. “He’s taken a new position as a director of secondary curriculum at Horseheads,” Wyant said at the Wednesday night Hornell Board of Education meeting.

The superintendent noted that the school board will start talking about their plans to replace the new high school principal early next week.

Tony Gill is finishing up his 6th year in the Hornell School District.
