Two Bath Men Are Accused Of Growing Cannibis Illegally

BATH, NY – Bath Village Police Chief Colin Taft and Steuben County Sheriff Jim Allard report that on December 30, 2021, officers of the Village of Bath Police Department and deputies of the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office arrested two persons in connection with cannabis possession and sales in the Village of Bath, New York, resulting from an investigation and search:

Michael L. Brown, age 34, of Main Street, Hammondsport, New York. It is alleged that Mr. Brown sold cannabis to a person under the age of 21 at a commercial establishment on West Morris Street, Bath, New York. Mr. Brown was charged with Criminal Sale of Cannabis in the Third Degree. Mr. Brown was released on an appearance ticket to return to the Village of Bath Court.

Brent D. Gallegos, age 34, of Kingsley Street, Bath, New York. It is alleged that Mr. Gallegos possessed a quantity of suspected cannabis in excess of three ounces at a commercial establishment on West Morris Street, Bath, New York. Mr. Gallegos was charged with Unlawful Possession of Cannabis.

Mr. Gallegos was released on an appearance ticket to return to the Village of Bath Court.
