HORNELL, NY – The Hornell Public Safety Board met on Thursday morning, and during the meeting, they approved the appointment of two police officers to full-time positions after completing their academy and most of their training. The two officers are Matthew Hanrahan and Trevor Stiles.
Later in the meeting, the Public Safety Board appointed two new Fire Department Call Men. The two new Call Men are Justin Haynes and Eric Watkins, who are expected to work for the Fire Department on a part-time basis.
Finally, the Public Safety Board approved three event applications for the Solar Eclipse Event at Shawmut Park, the Halfway to St. Patrick’s Parade, and the YMCA Run for the Shamrock.
