FROM STEUBEN CO EMERGENCY SERVICES: A flash flood warning was issued at 8:38pm and will last until 9:45pm. There were several road washouts in Wayland, Perkinsville, Cohocton, Howard and the Town of Dansville areas. Up to one inch of rain has fallen in the most recent rains. Additional rainfal amounts of less than a quarter of an inch. IMPACT: Flash flooding of small creeks, streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses. Locations that will be affected: Hornell, Canisteo, Arkport, Bath, Lindley, Cohocton, Wayland,Painted Post, Corning, South Corning, Horby, Howard, Jasper, Thurston, Avoca and Savona.
