The VA is having a veterans event in Elmira today at Dunn Field, from 10:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. Veterans will be able to apply for VA benefits as well as VA health care. They will also have free military surplus items, food from the Food Bank of the Southern Tier and a free lunch from the Elmira Pioneers.
