CANISTEO, NY – In the Town of Canisteo races, Republican Steve Weed won the town supervisors race, with 412 votes. There was a total of 414 votes in that race, with two write-in’s.
In the town clerks race, Lee Ann Dickey was elected with 392 votes.
In the town board race for Canisteo, John Peisher (D) received 195 votes and Wally Wade (R) 320 votes. Larry Stephens got 191 votes, so as it’s a two out of three situation, it’s too close to call, between Peisher and Stephens.
