Wellsville Woman Is Facing Charges Of 2nd Degree Attempted Murder/Robbery/Assault

From Wellsville Police Chief Tim O’Grady:

Wellsville Police arrested Gabriel A. Babbitt, age 21 of Wellsville, charging her with Attempted Murder 2nd (Class A Felony), Burglary 1st (Class B Felony), Assault 2nd (Class D Felony) and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th. The charges stem from an incident that took place on Clark Street on August 21st. Babbitt was additionally charged with Burglary 1st (Class B Felony), Attempted Robbery 2nd (Class C Felony), Conspiracy 4th (Class E Felony) and Assault 3rd, for an incident that took place on Scott Avenue on August 2nd. Babbitt was processed and arraigned before Wellsville Village Justice Thompson. Babbitt was committed to the Allegany County Jail on $15,000.00 cash bail, or $30,000.00 property bond or $60,000.00 partially secured bond. Babbitt is due back in Wellsville Village Court on September 20th at 4:30 pm.
