Utica Republican, Congresswoman Claudia Tenney, saying she’s going to run for congress, in this new congressional district, the 23rd. From Tenney’s Twitter page: “We are officially announcing our campaign for #NY23 this year! I look forward to meeting and earning the support of even more New Yorkers and getting to work for our region in Congress.”
Right now it looks like it could be a three way race, with Tenney, Canisteo Republican Joe Sempolinski, and State Senator George Borrello. Borrello says he’s “interested” and wants to see the final map.
