PRATTBURG, NY – State Police have released more information about the one car fatal accident on Pressler Road in the Town of Prattsburg, that happened on Tuesday. According to Bath State Police, their investigation revealed that Brandon Lass, 17, of Prattsburg, was driving a 2011 Ford Pickup Truck on Pressler Road, when Lass failed to negotiate a right-hand curve in the roadway. The vehicle exited the shoulder of the roadway and struck a tree.
Lass was pronounced dead at the scene by Steuben County Coroners Physician Dr. Robert Cole, who authorized the body removed to Monroe County Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy.
A passenger, Alexander Lamphear, 17, of Prattsburg, was transported to Ira Davenport Memorial Hospital for precautionary measures with no life threatening injuries.
