Albany Democrats came up with a new map which was released to the media at noon today. On this latest version of a congressional map, Congresswoman Claudia Tenney will get the Steuben County towns of:
Dansville
Wayland
Cohocton
Avoca
Prattsburgh
Wheeler
Pulteney
Congresswoman Tenney also gets more of Niagara County, loses a lot of areas in Cayuga County and Tenney gets three towns in northern Schuyler County.
Congressman Nick Langworthy gets the rest of Steuben County towns, and Langworthy gets Tioga County, loses the northern part of Schuyler County,
Langworthy keeps the following areas:
Allegany
Cattaraugus
Chautauqua
Chemung
Langworthy Loses a little bit of Erie County
Langworthy also gets a small amount of Niagara County.
It’s expected that these maps will be approved on Thursday.
After that – the maps will go into effect after the November elections this year.
