From Amity State Police: On November 15, 2021 the Bureau of Criminal Investigation out of SP Amity arrested Alex T. Minnick, 33 of Retsof, NY for 2 counts of Forcible Touching and 3 counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
On November 1, 2021 the Bureau of Criminal Investigation received a possible inappropriate touching of a minor complaint that occurred in the town of Belfast. Further investigation revealed that Minnick, a teacher at Belfast Central School, inappropriately touched and made comments while in a professional capacity.
Minnick was processed at SP Amity and released on appearance tickets returnable to the town of Belfast Court.
