Canisteo Village Mayor Monica Recktenwald says that talks continue between Canisteo Village Hall and Hornellsville Town Hall, about getting a water distrct going. That issue was raised at the Tuesday night Canisteo Village Board meeting. One resident there last night, said that this would be welcome news for those who live on Belle Haven Road. The Canisteo mayor explained that the attorneys for both Canisteo and Hornellsville are now communicating more on this issue, and she stated that things are getting closer to making this plan, a reality.
