Car Theft in Bath
Two Bath men are in trouble with the law after allegedly stealing a car in Bath and driving into Schuyler County where deputies stopped the car for speeding and then had to chase the occupants on foot.
Thomas Duane, 26, and Joshua Simmons, 23, were apprehended by those deputies and charged in several counts. In addition, Duane had earlier been charged with unlawful use of marijuana and having several speeding tickets. He was already on parole for unlawful use of a motor vehicle. He is in the Steuben County Jail pending his appearance on felony counts.
Simmons was released pending appearance on May 7th.
