Congressman Tom Reed Praises Mayor Shawn Hogan Over Making The Hospital News Public

December 15, 2014

CORNING, NY –  Congressman Tom Reed (R, Corning) says he is “glad Shawn is finding these details,” and that he applauds the mayor’s efforts.  Reed also stated that Mayor Shawn Hogan has taken a real lead in this issue of St. James Hospital.

Reed is talking about how Hornell Mayor Shawn Hogan released the news that St. James is paying 2.3 million a year to their parent company, CHE Trinity Health, which is considered a non-profit organization.

Hogan is hopeful that this means, once CHE Trinity Health is out of the picture in March of 2015, that not having to pay that 2.3 million, will give Hornell’s hospital a better chance of surviving.
