The results of the Capital Project Vote is as follows:
349 voters
242 Yes Passed w/ 69.34 % in favor
107 No
There are 2 affidavit votes that must be verified tomorrow before they can be opened and counted, but it will not impact the percentage enough to fall below 50%.
“I’m grateful for the Hornell community’s continued support for our vision of modern facilities that support student success,” said Superintendent Jeremy Palotti.
The next steps are to finalize the design and architectural plans and submit them to the State Education Department for approval.
The anticipated start date for some parts of this project is the spring of 2025. We will continue to update the website as the project progresses.
