Suspect Charged In Bath Home Invasion Arrest

October 20, 2020

From Bath Police Chief Chad Mullen:

The Village of Bath Police Department reports the arrest of Robin S. Robinson, age 37, of the Corning, Elmira and Sayre areas on a Superior Court Warrant for Robbery 1st, two counts of Robbery 2nd, 3 counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd, 4 counts of Assault 2nd, and Burglary in the 1st Degree.
The arrest stems from a home invasion robbery that occurred on West Morris St. in the Village of Bath in July, 2020. Numerous weapons were used in the assault and robbery of the home owner. The other 2 co-defendants were arrested back in July and August of 2020.

The arrest could not have happened without the anonymous tip of a concerned citizen and the quick response from the City of Elmira Police Department. The Elmira Police Department found Mr. Robinson in possession of another illegal weapon and he was subsequently arrested for that as well. Mr. Robinson is currently in the Chemung County Jail and at some point will be transported back to the Steuben County Jail for arraignment on these charges.
